The project is a SCADA system designed to control and monitor a station, the station is equipped with SIEMENS S7-200 which communicates with 6 circuit breakers through MODBUS where the PLC’s GPRS communication module communicates with the central control room, On occasion of sudden fault the station transmits relevant data to the central control station. Data are frequently updated in a preset time, or by instance request from the central control room (SCADA room). The current system has lowered operating and maintenance costs.  The operator can control all 6 circuit breakers from the central control room, where the system in turn archives all events for future analysis and examinations.
