A complete control system to control and monitor the entire station, the station consist of one deep well vertical pump, four boosters, balancing tank, chlorination system, all the station variables from the different sensors like pressure transducers, level transducers, flow meters, temperature sensors and chlorine concentration were connected to the main controller SIEMENS S7-300 PLC, the system also included a touch panel in the operator room.

A communication system is to be established using MODBUS to communicate with the soft starters to obtain the current values and display it on the touch panel, all the alarm messages were displayed and stored; also a trending for different variables was available.
