Rujeib Well and boosters station

A complete control system to control and monitor the entire station, the station consisted of one deep well vertical pump, four boosters, balancing tank, chlorination system and diesel generator as backup for the power supply.

All the station variables from the different sensors like pressure transducers, level transducers, flow meters, temperature sensors and chlorine concentration were connected to the main controller SIEMENS S7-300 PLC ,the system also included two touch panels, one of them was in the operator room at the same station
and the other was 5 Km away at another station connected using fiber optics.

A communication system was established using MOD BUS to communicate with the soft starters to obtain the current values and display it on the touch panels.

All the alarm messages were displayed and stored; also a trending for different variables was available.
